I am currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the University of Notre Dame focused on applied microeconomics. My interests lie at the intersection of development economics and political economy. My research investigates how institutions and gender influence human capital accumulation and the provision of public goods. I am currently studying gender quotas for political office, female genital cutting, and long-run impacts of colonial institutions in Africa and South Asia.Â
I am a PhD Fellow at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies and a graduate student affiliate of the Building Inclusive Growth (BIG) Lab.
